The role of motherhood in Islam, beyond its biological and emotional function, has an educational and civilization-building nature, the recognition of which is essential for the advancement of Islamic society. The present study aims to examine the educational role of women from the perspective of the Quran, Hadith, and the views of martyr Imam Khamenei (may Allah be pleased with him) using a descriptive-analytical method. The findings of the study show that this role is realized in four basic stages: the pre-pregnancy stage with an emphasis on self-development, faith, piety, and the spirit of devotion of the mother as fundamental spiritual assets; the pregnancy stage with a focus on family authenticity, heartfelt beliefs, morality, and mother's nutrition as the first environment for the child's development;
The breastfeeding stage serves as a platform for transmitting moral virtues and religious values through nutrition; and the post-breastfeeding stage functions to nurture the child's beliefs, moral traits, and righteous deeds. From the perspective of martyr Imam Khamenei ), motherhood is the highest position of a woman and the main focus of humanization and raising a righteous generation for the Islamic society. The results of the study confirm that the educational role of the mother in Islam is a continuous and multidimensional process that lays the cognitive, moral, and behavioral foundations of the future generation, and the realization of the Quranic transcendent society depends on recognizing and strengthening this fundamental position.
