Abstract

Health in Islam has a broad and comprehensive concept and is not limited to the health of the body but also includes the psychological and spiritual dimensions of human beings and paying attention to nutrition is very effective in ensuring human mental health. In this regard, the present study has been done by using descriptive-analytical method and library tools and by quoting the narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and adapting the findings to scientific achievements and has dealt with some effects of nutrition on some of the psychological and spiritual dimensions of human beings. The results indicate that nutrition is effective in both psychological and spiritual dimensions of human beings and in the psychological dimension, the effects of proper nutrition on human mood such as relieving sadness, controlling anger and rage and among them, the effects of nutrition on The spiritual dimensions of human beings such as the effect of nutrition on education, correction of behavioral and spiritual abnormalities and control of sensual motivations, which is the prelude to righteous action and ultimately worship and asceticism, have been studied, which is undeniable. Guidance recommendations in this regard have been provided among the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
