Islam is the last religion in which attention is paid to two human dimensions,the material dimension and the spiritual dimension. According to Islamic worldview, spirituality and economy are connected. In the logic of narrations, economic affairs do not hinder the remembrance of God and spirituality, and spirituality will not hinder economic activities either; And this interaction and convergence affects economic progress. In this research, the researcher aims to investigate the role of spirituality in economic development. Spirituality and religion play a very important role in economic progress. Spirituality is one of the concepts that scholars use against material things, synonymous with religion, and the concept of religious and moral values, and everything that includes or is related to meaning or spirit. In the traditions, many spiritual matters such as faith, servitude, justice, piety, charity and gratitude have been mentioned, which have a positive effect on all economic activities including production, distribution and consumption. The method of this research is analytical-descriptive. From the studies and investigations carried out in this research, it can be concluded that a spiritual person can work seriously and diligently by observing the spiritual matters mentioned in the narrations and have a work conscience in economic affairs and the spirit of seeking justice. And it can have a significant impact and role in all economic fields based on religious belief. Therefore, economic conduct with spiritual conduct and vice versa can be decisive in the happiness of the individual and the society, which will lead to economic growth.
