The authentic hadith is one of the main religious sources of Muslims, which has always been carefully guarded, but at the same time, it has not been protected from the hands of liars and enemies of Islam. The mixing of false hadiths with correct hadiths in hadith communities provides the basis for exploring the correctness and validity of hadith. Being a subject is one of the important weaknesses of the hadith, which makes the hadith lose its authenticity. The existence of falsification of hadith is the case of Islamic scholars regardless of various motives. In the face of the mentioned problem, in addition to Rjali's explorations and Daraya's discussions, scholars have criticized the text of hadith and in this regard, they have put forward criteria and rules for identifying hadiths. In this article, an attempt has been made to investigate some criteria of Sunnis in the recognition of hadiths with a descriptive and analytical method in order to show the strength of the aforementioned rules in criticizing hadiths. The findings of this research, by studying hadith sources and examining the works of hadith scholars, have shown the weakness, lack of validity and ineffectiveness of these criteria.
